Portraits of the 9 artists participating (The Nent, Skrei, Il Santo Bevitore, Dead Soace Chamber Music, Theskyisthinaspaperhere, Trianglecuts, New Haunts, Bas, and Xurguine), along with visual art and photography created specially by Bristol artists Katie Murt, Florian Oscar Hynam, Ellen Southern, Tommy Creep, Amy Ruth, Sara Perez and Gabriel Perez Artoz.   The Zine also features images from the Churches Conservation Trust archive. The Dark Alchemy event series has developed symbiotically with the trust, with events raising awareness and funds to support the work of protecting and maintaining so many sacred spaces across the country, including St Thomas the Martyr where Dark Alchemy IV was staged. 2019 sees the 50th Anniversary of the foundation of the trust, the country's pre-eminent trust for the management and repair of historic church properties, with more than 350 Grade 1 listed treasures in their care.
